Dental Implant Systems
DENTSPLY ASTRA tECH Implant System™ – These implants are specially designed to speed up bone healing and create a strong, stable foundation, ensuring a predictable and reliable result.
Straumann® Dental Implant System – Features implants made from high performance materials and specially designed surfaces to encourage healing and create a solid, reliable result.
Hahn Tapered Implant System – This system was engineered to meet the requirements of implant pioneer Dr. Jack Hahn and is the official implant of the Misch International Implant Institute. It features a tapered implant design that can be used in tight areas where other implants won’t fit. It’s precision with implant placement makes it an ideal system for patients with compacted mouth space.
Imaging and Treatment Planning Technology
3D Diagnostix Surgical Guides and coDiagnostiX™ Implant Planning Software – Using these software and surgical guide systems together allows for a complete digital workflow, reducing the number of visits to our office. Because the surgical guides can be made in house with pinpoint accuracy, your overall cost and treatment time is reduced, making implants more affordable and convenient.
CEREC 3D® – Same Day Restorations – Traditional restorative treatment often meant that patients would need several appointments to receive a restoration such as a crown. However, treatment planning and health patients no longer need to wait for their restoration to be sent to a dental laboratory for fabrication. Modern dental technology such as the CEREC 3D® system allows our dentists to make digital impressions and fabricate porcelain restorations for your implants right in our office.
CEREC Omnicam – The CEREC Omnicam helps us efficiently plan your implant procedure. This advanced intraoral camera creates crisp, photorealistic 3D color images with continuous capture that both you and the dentist can see displayed on a screen. It creates 2D and 3D images and impressions often used for treatment planning and restoration fabrication.
Orthophos SL 3D X-ray Unit – This imaging unit gives our dentists a complete image of the health and condition of your mouth for more accurate diagnosis and treatment planning. It provides both 2D and 3D digital x-ray images, as well as 2D panoramic images so we can see every part of your mouth and determine the need for any supplemental procedures, if necessary.
Frequently Asked Questions
Which dental implant process is right for me?
During your initial consultation, one of our experienced dentists will conduct a full examination of your oral health to see if you are the perfect candidate for dental implants. Depending on the strength of your gums and jaw, you may require supplemental procedures to improve your candidacy. Afterwards, our dental experts will create a treatment plan that fits the needs of your case to provide you with the best possible results for your restored smile.
Do dental implants hurt?
Our treatment options are designed to provide you with exceptional dental services while also minimizing your discomfort during the dental implant process. During your initial consultation, our expert dentists will determine which implant option is right for you as well as what technology can be implemented to further streamline the process. Depending on your oral health, we may recommend a specific treatment option or a supplemental procedure.
How do same day restorations work?
Traditional restorative treatment would require patients to attend several appointments to receive certain restorations such as a dental crown. With our CEREC 3D® system, however, dentists are able to make digital impressions and create porcelain restorations for your implants right in our office. As a result, patients no longer have to wait a couple of weeks to have their restorations fabricated at a laboratory and can have the added convenience of in-office service.
